HISTORY OF VERITE
VERITÉ ENTERTAINMENT, formerly known as Verité Films, was officially founded in 2012 by René Veilleux and Donald Roman Lopez as part of their transition from passionate independent creators to small business entrepreneurs. The plan: to build a sustainable business from the ground up by leveraging their, then, day-jobs in the industry (in voiceover casting, directing and script adapting) as service work, while building their brand through the development of original IP. In efforts to help their clients and collaborators understand the company’s blueprint –DIVERSITY–, in 2014 Verité Films rebranded to Verité Entertainment. Since, the company has been expanding their service work from being a voiceover service provider to becoming a one-stop solution for post-production sound, as well as, offering full packages for audiovisual production. In addition, Verité Entertainment continues to evolve as a brand transitioning its original IP from development into production. The company is malleable and scalable, expanding and contracting as necessary. Verité’s core team is lean, but their army of love is expansive.
